Simplified Data Sharing With Your Support Team and Changelog for 5/16/25

New
Hello everyone,

We have a couple of big changes to announce this week, but let’s start with the changelog.

Changelog for the week of 5/16/25

For Everyone
  • Fixed a bug preventing users from adding an attachment to an event

  • Adjusted the styling of the modal window so that it didn’t extend fully to the edge of the screen

  • Changed the daily rating view on iOS/android so that it is a calendar view. It’s a tight fit in terms of the data, but I think you’ll find this a major improvement as it allows you to easily see the daily rating data at a glance.

  • Added a “Rate Hospet” link to the main menu if using the iOS or Android App. Please take a moment to rate us on the app store of your choice. It does a lot to help people discover the tool, and it really does mean the world to us. Note that the Apple/Android stores control how often the rating popup will show. Therefore, if you click on it more than once you may find that it dosen’t show the popup.

For Pet Parents
  • You can now choose to automatically share your pet’s data with your support team if you’ve imported them as a Hospet Connect provider using a QR code or referral code/link.

  • Only Support Teams that have the “Synced with Provider” badge are able to have your pet’s data automatically shared with them. You can choose to enable automatic data sharing by editing your support team and enabling it there, or by editing your pet’s settings and enabling it via the “Support Team Access” tab/dropdown.

  • If you elect to automatically share your pet’s data, your support team provider will be able to see all of the data for that particular pet, except events or records data that you have marked as “Private”.

  • If you see a “Not Synced” badge next to that support team member you need to reach out to them and get their QR and/or referral code that you can then scan/click and it will automatically connect them allowing you to share your pet’s data automatically with them. Note that the ability to email

  • For more information about Support Teams and the automatic data sharing functionality, click this link.

For Providers
  • We’ve added a “Referral Code” to the Provider Dashboard to give another way for clients to add you, or sync your provider data with their support team. Clients will need to click on the “Import from Referral Code” link under “Support Teams” and enter that code you provide them.

  • There is now a “Client List” under “Hospet Connect” where you can search for those clients who have added you and view their data (if they choose to share it with you automatically). You will then get taken to a dashboard view similar to that what the pet owner sees.

  • If you are not a provider, and would like to be, reach out to us at support@hospet.app and we will help you get set up with your free Hospet Connect account.

If you have any questions, run into any issues, or if there is anything I can do to help support you, please do not hesitate to email us at support@hospet.app.

Thanks!

Changelog for the Week of 5/5/25

Fix
Hello everyone,

Below are the list of changes and improvements for the week of May 5th, 2025.

Changelog for the Week of 5/5/25
  • Added a "Vitals" tab to the Analytics section of your pet's dashboard. You can now visualize your pet's blood glucose, respiratory rate and heartrate as a graph rather than being limited to only the textual output that was there before.
  • Fixed an issue preventing iOS users from submitting assessments (no update required)
  • Fixed the "Sign Out" button for mobile devices to make it more clickable
  • Fixed an issue where long description/notes would cause wrapping to occur on the events tab of your pet's dashboard

I hope everyone has a great week. If there is anything I can do to help support you, or if you run into any issues, please do not hesitate to reach out to me via support@hospet.app

Thanks!

Hospet is Now Available on the Google Play Store

New
Hello everyone,

I've got some great news to share - Hospet is now officially available on the Google Play Store!

You can download it here:

Hospet on the Google Play Store

If you’ve been using Hospet on the web or have just been waiting for an Android version, I’d be incredibly grateful if you took a moment to download the app and leave a rating or review. Early support like this makes a big difference in helping more pet owners discover the tool.

Changelog for the Week of 4/21/25
  • Removed the header from showing when logged out on the iOS App and mobile versions (no update required)
  • Fixed an issue causing some iOS Push Notifications not to send out
  • Reworked the Quality of Life Assessment Interface. There were a couple of usability issues with regard to editing assessments and the question navigation on the side was causing some confusion among users. It's been completely reworked and provides a more streamlined interface which I hope helps to cut down on some of the confusion. I would love to hear any feedback you have.

If you run into any problems, or if there's anything I can do to support you, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me at: support@hospet.app

I've got another feature for you this week: Records — an easy way to upload, organize, and share important documents related to your pet's care. Whether it’s a lab result, a visit summary, or discharge instructions, you can now store everything securely in one spot and easily share it with your Support Team when needed. This feature is available on both the web and iOS applications, and it's included in both our Premium and Free accounts.

You can read more about the Records functionality in our Help Desk article:

Hospet is Now on the iOS Store

Improvement
Hello everyone,

I hope your week is off to a great start!

This week brings some exciting news — Hospet is now officially available on the Apple App Store!

You can download it here:

Hospet on the App Store

If you’ve been using Hospet on the web or have just been waiting for a mobile version, I’d be incredibly grateful if you took a moment to download the app and leave a rating or review. Early support like this makes a big difference in helping more pet owners discover the tool.

For Android users, a version is currently in development. It’s still early in the process, so I don’t have an ETA just yet — but I’ll be sure to keep you posted. For now you can install Hospet to your phone as a Progressive Web App (PWA) which will give you an app-like experience. You can learn more about this here.

In the meantime, if you have any questions or run into any issues, feel free to reach out at support@hospet.app. I’d love to hear from you.

🔧 Other Recent Updates:

  • Mobile Web Improvements: A mountain of small styling tweaks were made to improve how Hospet looks and feels on mobile browsers.

  • Quick Access Events Panel: When you create a new pet, the Events “Quick Access” panel will now include a few helpful defaults to get you started. You can still fully customize this to fit your needs.

  • Assessment Editing Fixes: Fixed several issues that affected editing previously submitted Quality of Life Assessments.

  • Provider Import Link Update: The URL for importing providers into a support team has been updated to support smoother mobile app integration. (Your existing links still work, but if you’ve printed out the provider flyer, I recommend grabbing a fresh copy.)

Thanks again for being part of the journey. Launching on iOS is a big step, and your support — whether through a download, a rating, or just sharing the news — truly means the world.

Sincerely,

MIke Hodge
