For Everyone
Below is the list of changes and improvements that have been deployed since our last update
Changelog
For Everyone
- Added Reminders. You can now set your own reminders for your pet, such as giving a medication, doing sub-Q fluids, or an upcoming vet appointment. Reminders can go off once, daily, weekly, monthly, or every few hours, and you can choose whether just you or everyone on your account gets notified. You'll get a notification in Hospet, and a push notification on your phone if you use the Hospet app. Look for the new "Reminders" tab on your pet's page. You can learn more about this at - https://support.hospet.app/pets/setting-reminders-for-your-pet/
- Added "Discomfort" as a default Daily Rating category for new pets, alongside "Overall". Pets created before October 22nd only start with "Overall", so if you'd like to track discomfort for one of those pets, add a "Discomfort" category in your pet's settings.
- Added a "+ Category" link next to the category tabs on your pet's Daily Ratings card, to make it clear that you can add your own rating categories, such as "Eating" or "Energy". You can learn more about this at - https://support.hospet.app/pets/creating-a-pet/
- Quality of life assessment PDFs now show the answer you chose (for example, "Strongly Disagree") next to the score for each question. Additionally, the each categories percentage scores are shown in a summary at the top of the PDF
- Added links to download the iOS and Android apps at the bottom of the menu when using Hospet on the web. You can learn more about this at - https://support.hospet.app/your-hospet-account/getting-the-hospet-app/
- Fixed an issue on desktop where the alerts window could extend to the bottom of the screen.
For Pet Parents
- You can now invite your veterinarian or care provider to Hospet if they aren't on it yet. Go to "Support Teams" in the main menu and click "Invite Provider", or click "Invite to Hospet" under the "Not Synced" badge next to a provider already on your support team. When they sign up and their account is approved, they'll be synced with your support team automatically and we'll email you. You can learn more about this at - https://support.hospet.app/support-team/adding-managing-your-support-team/
- Clarified the wording on the "Invite User" page. Inviting someone to your account is meant for people like family members or a pet sitter who need to log in and add to your pet's records. They can see everything in your account, including events and records marked as private. Your vet, clinic and other care providers should be added to your Support Team instead.
For Providers
- Added One-Time Assessments. You can now email a client a quality of life assessment that they can complete in their browser, without needing a Hospet account. When they submit it, you'll receive the results by email with the full assessment attached as a PDF, and you can view them anytime under "Hospet Connect → One-Time Assessments". If your client then creates a Hospet account, their pet is shared with you automatically and you are added to their support team. You can learn more about this at - https://support.hospet.app/hospet-connect-for-providers/sending-a-one-time-assessment-to-a-client/
- Added the Hospet Connect API and webhooks, so your practice management software can connect directly to Hospet Connect. Account admins can create API keys and webhook endpoints from the new "API & Webhooks" page, found by clicking your profile picture at the top right. You can learn more about this at - https://support.hospet.app/hospet-connect-for-providers/using-the-hospet-connect-api-and-webhooks/ and your developer or software vendor can find the technical documentation at https://support.hospet.app/developers/
